Name: Barney Stinson

Physical Appearance: The most noticeable thing about Barney is the fact that he is almost always in a suit. He loves suits. Clothes are the first thing a person notices about someone and suits equal power. Otherwise, he has slightly dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Though he might be physically less impressive than others, Barney would never think that. He’s hot. And he knows it.
Education: Cornell University
Occupation: Altrucel, the company that makes military weapons, petroleum, and the fuzzy stuff on tennis balls
Significant Other: Oh, there are others. Many others.
Sexual Preference: Heterosexual
Character Biography:
History: Barney Stinson was born to his mother, who was a bit promiscuous, and possibly Bob Barker. True story. He actually lived a quiet, peaceful childhood in Staten Island, New York, and loved helping people. He graduated high school and, with his serious girlfriend Shannon, was ready to go into the peace corps and lead a hippie life. It was good.
Until, of course, Shannon decided that she wanted a man in a suit instead. He was horrible! A womanizer, manipulative and disrespectful of women and life itself. And Shannon wanted him. That was when Barney made the decision not to be a sap anymore. That was when Barney became a man. He bought his first suit, went to college, and became involved as a businessman for Altrucel. The suits, and women, kept on coming.
At a bar one nite, Barney met a most unfortunate man who he vowed to impart his knowledge upon and teach to live! Ted Mosby found himself a new best friend, and one of the most awesome kinds of best friends. With Ted came Marshall and Lily, and the introduction of Robin..who could suit up and wingman better than Ted did. Imagine that.
